World´s 16 Most Picturesque Villages

An American magazine Budget Travel, which offers practical tips for travellers, went out searching for the most camera-ready communities on the planet.

Český Krumlov mezi 16 nejkrásnějšími městečky světa

Editors had to find the most beautiful towns with picture-perfect views and suspended-in-time charm. At the same time these places should fit the bill. High requirements have fulfilled 16 towns, from a Swiss village straight out of Heidi to an antebellum masterpiece in Georgia or middle age town Český Krumlov.

Český Krumlov is described as one of the oldest villages in the Czech Republic, set in a valley in Bohemia south of the Blansko Forest and circled by the Vltava River. The village grew up around the 13th-century Gothic castle of the Lords of Krumlov, which has 40 buildings and palaces, gardens, and turrets and today is a major performing arts location. The cobblestone streets of Cesky Krumlov's Old Town are lined with Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance buildings housing art galleries, cafes, and quaint B&Bs.

This evaluation emphasizes the uniqueness of Český Krumlov in international scale and invites visitors from all over the world to come to Český Krumlov. Every month visit the on-line version of magazine Budget Travel 1 million unique guests.
