Closing of the Castle Viewing Season
On the occasion of the closing of the Castle viewing season, a historical costumed procession will pass through the historical town centre on Saturday 22 October 2016 at 2 pm. You can see historical costumes ranging from the gothic to the baroque periods.
This year´s procession theme: Wedding festivities on the Krumov court or the 350th wedding anniversary of the last Eggenbergs (in the year 1666).
Processional route: The procession will begin at the Municipal Theatre Český Krumlov and continue through Horní Street onto Svornosti Square and further through Široká Street to 2nd Castle courtyard. In case of clement weather there will be a festive conclusion at the Cascade Fountain in the Castle gardens.
