Remarks:

  • Duration: 10 days in the second half of July
  • Festival of Ancient Music takes full advantage of particularly suitable acoustics historical halls, their capacity is always limited (max. capacity of halls: 120-140 seats)
  • Total attendance of festival is always limited to the capacity of concert halls in the town
  • Due to that fact it is not possible to raise attendance, rather stabilize (the event does not intend to be mass, but aims to use the offered capacity maximally).
  • Number of concerts determines total attendance (7-10 concerts during the festival week), it is not possible to compare annual festivals because of different numbers of given concerts (number of given concerts is not constant in current years).
  • I recommend to compare statistically the whole proportional attendance achievment of the event (during the recent years it reached 75 – 87 %, some reserves are still left).
