Five-petalled Rose Celebrations will not take place this year
The largest cultural event in Český Krumlov, which is regulary held in the second half of June, is canceled due to coronavirus measures. The 34th year of the Five-Petalled Rose Celebrations doesn´t take place this year! This was decided by the City Council based on the advice of the municipal Security Council.
The historic celebration is not planned to be postponed to a later time. If possible, the town in cooperation with local businesses plans to concentrate on summer smaller-scale events in the streets. The town will be ready in all of its beauty with the whole offer for the guests.
The town of Český Krumlov would like to offer its visitors excellent gastronomy, culture and leisure activities in the streets, the town square, parks, on the water and in the gardens. If everything goes accordingly, the traditional autumn events will take place as planned: Festival of Baroque Arts in Český Krumlov, St. Wenceslas Celebrations, European Heritage Days, the prehistoric and medieval festival Krumbenowe, Oktoberfest, Wine Festival Český Krumlov or Advent and Christmas in winter.
