Rally Český Krumlov 2010

After a year-long break, the strong motors belonging to specially-tuned racing cars will one again roar around Český Krumlov and České Budějovice. Rally Český Krumlov has a rich and successful history and it continues to thrive.

May 21 and 22 are two memorable dates for the fans of this motor sport. The popularity of Rally Český Krumlov guarantees a high number of participating crews, one of the highest in the entire championship series. A number of top drivers will present the most advanced and sophisticated machinery allowed on national championships on this traditionally difficult and technical track.
Another attraction is the placement of the 38th Rally Český Krumlov into the Mitropa Cup events, besides being also part of the FIA European Cup. The foreign participants of this European series will definitely provide for a high-quality enhancement of the starting roll.
We must not forget the historical automobiles. Their drivers will again compete for points during Rally Český Krumlov. Another novelty during this year will be the participation of some of the jewels of past rallies, presented as part of the popular Rally Legend Show.
The tracks of the speed trials have remained virtually unchanged save for a few details, including the emphasis on safety, meticulous marking of spots for viewers and banned spots.

The contest commences on Friday 21 May with the traditional viewers' super special on the České Budějovice Exhibition Ground where all competing crews will have their service paddocks. After the festive start in Jelení zahrada in Český Krumlov the crews will aim for the traditional speed trials. The two-day-long battle for seconds on the tracks in Přídolí, Kohout-Sv. Jan, Malonty, Rožmitál and Slavkov will conclude on Saturday 22 May with a festive results ceremony on the finishing point in Jelení zahrada in Český Krumlov.
