Great musical works are also being prepared for the future season at the Open-Air Theatre with the Revolving Auditorium in Český Krumlov. There will be a comeback of Rusalka by Antonín Dvořák with the music production of the general music director Mario De Rose, directed by Jiří Heřman. A premiere title will be the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet. The music production will be accomplished by Mario De Rose again, and directed by Jana Kališová, who has already directed the operas Rusalka and Rigoletto in front of the Revolving Auditorium.
The ballet ensemble directed by the artistic director and choreographer Attila Egerházi will prepare a new production of one of the most beautiful and best-known classic ballet stories by P. I. Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake. After nine years it returns to the Open-Air Theatre, where it was last performed in 2006.
The dramatic ensemble will stage a novelty - the detective comedy The Hound of the Baskervilles, and the popular comedies The Three Musketeers and The Servant of Two Masters will be put on stage again. For families with children, the ensemble of the Little Theatre is preparing a fantasy-style fairy-tale, Baron Munchhausen. These performances are staged in Czech only.
