The famous Latvian mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča will be the face of the 22nd year of the festival, which she will start with an opera recital accompanied by the Symphonic Orchestra of the Czech Radio, the residential ensemble of the festival. IMF will bring to Český Krumlov a symphonic tribute to legendary Queen, the performance of which was hindered by the weather last year: The Queen Symphony conducted by the composer, Tolga Kashif. We can look forward also to a congratulation concert at the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the group Čechomor and a series of chamber concerts in the Masquerade Hall of the Český Krumlov Castle, the number of which organisers have decided to increase due to big demand. We would like to draw your attention especially to the project called "Harlequin" of clarinetist Karel Dohnal. Singers from Broadway will return to the stage of the Brewery Garden with popular melodies from musicals and rock operas, there will also be a concert from the free cycle "Stars of world's jazz" (this time it will be Gustav Brom Czech radio Big Band and soloists) and so-called national night, Russian night focused on culture and gastronomy. At the end of the festival, Albena Danailova and Meehae Ryo and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Czech Radio will perform in the Castle Riding Hall.
