The little township lies at the edge of the Blanský Forest Nature Reserve as well as close to three other proposed natural reservations: Rohanova stráň, Chabičovické stráně and Čertova stráň at Čertyně. These three areas have been proposed as natural reservations as to protect the mixed natural forest growth.
