Town History
In 1769 was based on small plots lužického Justice Wood village. Founder Johann Buqoy named it in honor of his wife, Countess Therese, with whom he married in 1765. Initially it was a small office with the name Theresiendörfl beim Luschnitzer Hof (Tera village in Lužického Justice). Originally the settlement were only two houses were built next to the growing problem of shipping timber. When the estate was built by the pub's population still increased. Village continue to be developed, clearly contributed to the establishment of the church and small schools.
In this way roce1810 toured Emperor Francis I in 1890 stopped the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este. The beginning of the 20th century increased the number of houses to 22 and the population to 185, mostly of German nationality.
In roce1894 established a post office and three years later opened Raiffeisenka. During the First Republic were in the village of subsistence cattle trader, dealer in wood, čtiři inns, shopkeeper, men's tailor, cobbler, three bakers, beer bar, a butcher, two general merchandise stores, architectural firm, two tobacconists, and the Credit Institute parish community Target Ves.
After the war, and forced the evacuation of the population were colonized largely Romanian Slovaks. Settlement due to late establishment and its small size did not initially subject to a municipal office Lužnice. Municipalities became only the 20th in the fifties century, when it was also renamed from targets on Pohorská Ves. In 1981 the village was merged with the village Pohorská Benešov the Black, but the 1st July 1990 to exclude the village Lužnice Pohorská Ves, and the Sumava Mountains to form the new obec.Pohorská village became again the seat of municipal authority.
