One of the many attractions of Český Krumlov is its museum in Horní Street, just a few steps away from the Town Square, housed in a dominant building, formerly a Jesuit Seminary in the years 1650 - 1652, from which there is one of the most beautiful views of the Ceský Krumlov panorama. A branch of the museum is also the birth place of Adalbert Stifter in Horní Planá, at Lake Lipno, where the life and works of the "Poet of Šumava" are mapped out.

A cosy exhibition space housed in the former Prelature, regularly changed exhibitions mainly displaying the works of Český Krumlov artists.
Opening hours: open Tuesday - Sunday all year round 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The foundation stone was laid in 1350. The Cross Walkway (cloisters) is accessible, restored to their original appearance from the year 1500, with a unique series of lunette paintings from the 17th and 18th century and also a collection box with liturgical vessels.
