Synagogue Český Krumlov will host a series of chamber concerts on every Saturday in November. A number of excellent musicians both from Czech Republic and abroad will perform during the varied musical schedule.

Trio Martinů was formed at the Prague Conservatoire in 1990. Its current line-up Jaroslav Matějka – cello, Pavel Šafařík – violin, Petr Jiříkovský – piano have remained unchanged since 1993.
Under Professor Antonín Kohout (a member of the Smetana Quartet) at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the ensemble developed and embarked on a trajectory paved with success and awards. These have included being semi-finalists in the international competition at Trapani, Italy; third price in the international contest of chamber ensembles at Heerlen, The Netherlands in 1992, which was followed by winning this competition three years later, in 1995.

For his CD recording of his own piano transcriptions and paraphrases of orchestral works by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and Rachmaninov, the young Belgian pianist Florian Noack was named “Emerging Artist of the Year" by ECHO Klassik, a prestigious award which confirms the unique talent of this exceptional musician.

Dagmar Pecková is one of the most successful Czech opera singers – she has performed at the most prestigious opera and concert halls and stages througout her career (Bayerische Staatsoper, Carnegie Hall New York, Royal Opera House Covent Garden London, San Francisco Opera and others) as well as at prestigious international music festivals (Edinburg International Festival, Salzburger Festspiele) under the leadership of world famous conductors.
