Every year in September most interesting historic sights, buildings and areas including those partially or completely inaccessible will be opened to general public.The aim of the event is to search for the roots of our, European and world civilization. That´s why EHD includes various accompanying events - lectures, concerts, municipal festivals, but also competitions and other cultural program. That´s why the individual countries or towns give out their national themes through which they want the organizators and visitors to focus on various phenomena of the natural and cultural heritage. EHD help the individual living in 21st century to search his or her identity in the globalizing world, therefore EHD are getting more and more popular.

Regional Museum in Český Krumlov

Art and spiritual science awaken sights. Krumlov agency Arteco-B.M. in cooperation with the town of Český Krumlov organize in the framework of EHD meeting of artists, scientists and philosophers. The festival Ars Magna will uncover the mysteries hidden in Krumlov architecture, art symbols and countryside, the excursions, lectures and concerts will bring closer the historical facts and esoteric medieval and renaissance thinking the heritage of those lasts until today. All activities will take place in the newly restore gothic hall of former Prelature which will be opened only for these three days.
