Festival is held under the auspices of the Prezident of Czech Republic Mr. Václav Klaus
Český Krumlov is one of the most prominent monument zones in Central Europe thanks to its magnificent architecture. We are delighted that for seventeen years now we have helped create the cultural tradition of the town. Eight different surroundings will this year resonate with the sound of opera and symphony, chamber music, vocals and recitals, with room for jazz, musicals and music and food from European culture, this time concentrating on Greece.
It was over two thousand years ago that Pythagoras realised that “Music can greatly
benefit your health if used properly”. We firmly believe that the “festival well” from
which we draw this medicine will never run dry.
We sincerely look forward to seeing you from 18th July to 23rd August.
