The proceeds from the resulting auction will be used to fund a special-needs workshop. „The St Lucia name-day used to celebrate cleansing, empathy and the light in the darkness. This festival has now been all but forgotten, which is a great pity: just like St Nicholas, St Lucia brings beautiful tidings of the forthcoming Holy Nights. We now wish to give St Lucia back the place she deserves, and so we are calling on creative and curious people to come and make a joint art-work, a felt tapestry, followed by a procession with shining St Lucia on horseback.“
