8-9th September 2007 Seidel Photoatelier Museum, Cruisaders Order of the Red Cross Monastery, Prelature, Museum of Architecture and Craft 15-16th September 2007 Český Krumlov State Castle and Chateau European Heritage Days are important cultural and educational event througout the whole Europe whose main aims are: to get to know better other cultures, to protect the cultural heritage and to respect all cultures no matter how spread they are. The first open day in the sights took place in 1984 at the suggestion of France. Every year in September there are open days in various sightseeings, buildings, objects and premises including those partially or completely inaccessible.

Český Krumlov is a unique historical town which has never been damaged by any fire.Thanks to this in many burgher houses there are preserved medieval roof frames which often take more than half of the object´s height. The tour of the roof constructions of the houses is during the ordinary tours unfeasible. Within the framework of EHD some roof frames will be accessed during the tour. The roof frames were chosen to focus on their gradual development. Český Krumlov State Castle and Chateau

The premises of the castle and chateau are open from 9:00-16:00/17:00 for the usual price. Appendant event 9:00 - 16:30 Castle Tower Cylindrial 6 - floor tower the two thirds of which are surrounded with the palace of the Redoubt leans on a rock pointing sharply over Latrán´s settlement round the castle and the flow of the Vltava river. The tower allows a beautiful view of the town of Český Krumlov and its vicinity. The tower´s height from the level of the Vltava River is 86 metres. Admission free for children till 15 accompanied by an adult. 10:00-16:30 Castle Lapidarium Castle Lapidarium is situated on Ist castle courtyard below the nothern wing of New Burgrave´s Office. The area in the nothern direction is basementless, in the southern direction it is deeply below the courtyard´s terrain. In the castle architecture, together with Prague Castle Cellars there are no other throughout the whole central Europe. Admission free 10:00-15:00 Renaissance House Part of theatre coulisses collection (suffits, prospects) theatre costumes and complements. Baroque Theatre in Český Krumlov Castle represents highly developed Baroque scene. There is only one theatre in the world that can be compared to this unique theatre ,which is the kingly theatre in Drottningholm near Stockholm from 1766. Admission free.
