Saint Wenceslas Celebrations and International Folklore Festival of Český Krumlov 2013

The last weekend of September (27th - 29th) in Český Krumlov will belong to the traditional St. Wenceslas Celebrations, where the tribute to St. Wenceslas will be given. The festivities promise good food, drinks from the wine makers and brewers, interesting cultural events and much more. 

St. Wenceslas Fair with traditional goods and condiments will take place in historical center of the city and will begin at noon on Friday. Saturday's program will include International Folklore Festival. Folklore music will be heard throughout the weekend in the square and streets and alleys of the town. There will also be many opportunities for dancing. Children will not be bored as they can participate in various games and contests. Museums and galleries of Český Krumlov will open their doors to visitors on Saturday nigh as part of the program.

The organizers have also prepared other attractions. Visitors will have the opportunity to visit newly renovated Synagogue and the Regional Museum. Their engaging exhibitions are part of this year's Land Exhibition entitled "Ancient Tracks - New Roads". Those interested in religious monuments and their history will be welcomed by st. Vitus Church with st. Wenceslas Chapel. Visitors will enjoy the favorite meeting all Václavs and Václavkas, concerts, wine yard, theatrical tours and St. Wenceslas photo shooting in Museum Fotoatelier Seidel and much more.

Admission to the Festival and its entire program is free, exceptions are listed in the St. Wenceslas Celebrations programme.
