The South Bohemian summer Revolving Auditorium season is again filled with exciting experiences. The new season brings four premieres: A comedy The Ghost King and Třeštil or How to Tame a Brute, a fairytale Firebird and Zorro the Fox, a musical Finian's Rainbow and a ballet performance of Carmen.

Starting from 6 June to 7tSeptember you can attend a total of eight pieces in several repetitions. The Revolving Auditorium season opens on 6 June with a premiere of The Ghost King and Třeštil or How to Tame a Brute. This piece by Ferdinand Raimund tells the story of a mysterious Alpine king and a miraculous conversion of a brute and is a romantic fairytale full of changes, miracles, music and theatrical poetry.

Another premiere will be the well-known musical Finian's Rainbow which became very popular in local culture thanks to the Voskovec and Verich execution. It will be shown between 26 June and 15 July.

The ballet company will also present a premiere in the form of a classical and world-famous piece Carmen - a story of love, jealousy and revenge. This ballet performance in the choreography of Attila Egerházy will show on the Revolving Auditorium from 17 to 21 July.

The fourth premiere is set to entertain the youngest visitors - an action-packed performance for the entire family Firebird and Zorro the Fox. Who is stealing the golden apples from the royal gardens? And who catches the thief? You can see the solution to these riddles in several performances between 15 June and 25 August.

Other popular pieces from past seasons return to the Auditorium apart from these four premieres. You will see the romantic opera Rigoletto (26 - 31 July) performed by the opera ensemble of the South Bohemian Theatre, a ballet performance telling the most beautiful love story of Romeo and Juliet (2 - 4 August). The popular comedy The Wives of Henry VIII. (6 - 17 August) returns to please fans of humour and fun.
