Royal Music Festival Zlatá Koruna 2013

The Royal Music Festival in Zlatá Koruna will this year celebrate 750 years of the founding of the Monastery. The celebrations of this significant anniversary will host interesting exhibitions, lectures, concerts and special tours. Beautiful chamber music will sound throughout the Monastery for the tenth time.

Trombone Trio of Liberec and King‘s Brass Band (Liberecké trombónové trio a Královské žestě) will open the Festival on Sunday, August 11th. Violin virtuoso Bohuslav Matoušek, who has been a lecturer of International Violin Master Courses since 2006, will delight the audience a week later (August 18th).

Music performances will continue with traditional concerts in St. Nicholas Church in Boletice. Vocal choir Harmonie from Frymburk will perform on Tuesday, August 20th and visitors can look forward to a vocal-instumental ensemble of period instruments Chairé on Wednesday, August 21st.

The Royal Music Festival will also offer attractive performances towards the end of August and in September.
