Magical Krumlov 2013

For 2 days from 30th April to 1st May Český Krumlov will turn into Magical Krumlov and Svornosti Square becomes Square of Love. A rich events schedule celebrating the arrival of spring is planned for visitors in the Brewery Gardens.

Many regular visitors to Český Krumlov have over the last couple of year become fans of Magical Krumlov, a 2-day celebration of May, the month of love. Here is a sample of events scheduled for Magical Krumlov set to appeal to not only our little visitors: A magical afternoon for children together with best costume contest, games, attractions and fun for children, Krumlov Fair presenting many local non profit organizations, schools and festival, joint Maypole erection and lighting the pyre. Museum Photo Studio Seidel has prepared a surprise for Tuesday afternoon. You can have an original portrait photo taken in the style of the turn of the 19th and 20th century directly in the Brewery Gardens. Music fans must certainly not miss concerts by popular bands Zrcadla and Chlapi v sobě. A paper lantern procession will symbolically conclude the final April day accompanied by brass orchestra of the Krumlov Elementary Artistic School.

Many local museums and galleries will open their doors on Wednesday 1st May inviting for a visit for free or with a discount. You can for example at a 50 % discount enjoy a tour into the past through the unique Museum Fotoatelier Seidel, visit for free the exhibition about the construction history of the medieval town in the Museum of Architecture and Craft or a gallery of Photo club Český Krumlov.
